Dr. Hornberger has been practicing in Santa Rosa, California since 1991. He and his family
moved to Sonoma County immediately after training. Over the past two decades, he has
been specializing in the care of patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Hepatitis,
Inflammatory Bowel Disease, with skills and experience in the endoscopic diagnosis and
treatment of disease. He has training and has a continued interest in molecular biology and
its applications in clinical practice. He has served the community in volunteer work on
numerous committees and health clinics (specifically Southwest Health Clinic). He has
been an ongoing consultant with Cedar Associates, LLC; international experts in clinical
effectiveness decision research analysis. Over the past two decades, he has fostered
professional relationships with primary care doctors and specialists throughout the
community and Northern California; assuring his patients personal access to the best care
available. He strives to be personally available for his patients and colleagues.
He is married and has raised two sons. Personal interests include: art and drawing, biking,
swimming, reading.
